According to sub-rule (7) of rule 6, the quarantine officer may auction the confiscated animals, animal products or animal products.
(2) During the auction sale according to sub-rule (1), the Quarantine Officer shall publish an open notice including the following matters after looking at the situation and giving a deadline of seven to fifteen days:-
(a) Description of animals, animal products or animal product materials,
(b) Minimum price,
(c) date, time and place of holding of auction,
(d) A cash bond of five percent of the bid price to be placed in the auction,
(e) Other essential matters. 3) In accordance with clause (b) of sub-rule (2), the following pricing committee shall be established to determine the minimum price:-
(a) Quarantine Officer – Chairman
(b) Representative, District Administration Office or Customs Office – Member
(c) Representative, Office of the Controller of Funds and Accounts – Member
(4) If the auctioned animals, animal products or animal products are not paid in full within the specified period, the security deposit may be confiscated and re-auctioned.
(5) If the minimum price is not accepted during the auction increase, the auction should be increased again. In this way, the auction can be sold even if the minimum price is reduced by ten percent when the auction is increased again. If the auction cannot be increased in this way, the Quarantine Officer can sell directly to the representative of the District Administration Office or the Customs Office and the Treasury and Accounts Controller's Office.
